Who We Are

True Rock Men’s Ministry is a CULTURAL COUNTERBALANCE FOR MEN and a Christ-centered men’s coaching, counseling, and ministry organization. We exist to help men reclaim their roots in deep moral objectivity and rediscover their God-given purpose in a world that often undermines true masculinity.

We provide:

• Weekly Men’s Groups – safe, structured spaces where men can grow together in faith, discipline, and accountability.

• Individual Coaching & Counseling – one-on-one sessions tailored to the unique journey of each man.

• Spiritual Formation & Self-Development – guiding men through challenges with clarity, courage, and biblical truth.

As a fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, True Rock also welcomes discretionary donations from those who wish to support this mission.

How We Work

Our approach blends proven frameworks with a Christ-centered worldview:

• Biblical Strategies for spiritual warfare and on moving mens lives back on the "TRUE ROCK" of Christ.

• The Hero’s Journey – helping men see their lives as part of God’s greater story of redemption.

• Archetypal Analysis – uncovering the deep masculine roles of King, Warrior, Magician, and Lover, redefined in light of Christ.

• Personal Typologies – assessments and tools that reveal gifts, challenges, and identity in Christ.

Each method is adapted to both faith and practice, so men grow not only in character but also in spiritual depth.

Pilgrim’s Grit – Music with a Mission

As part of our ministry, we lead a unique music project called Pilgrim’s Grit. These songs weave together themes of faith, struggle, and redemption, offering an artistic reflection of the battles men face and the hope found in Christ. Pilgrim’s Grit is not just music—it is ministry, speaking to the soul through sound.

Our Founder – Dr. Dan Scott Lea

True Rock was founded by Dr. Dan Scott Lea, a leader, counselor, and teacher with decades of global experience.

• Academic & Professional Formation: With a BBA, MA, MSc, and doctoral-level studies in Counseling and Ministry, Daniel’s scholarship focuses on leadership typologies, transformational growth, and the Enneagram.

• Global Leadership Experience: Daniel has served over 25 years in leadership roles, including a decade teaching in Spain and Latin America, and 15 years directing large international teams supporting U.S. and host government security objectives in Colombia and Afghanistan.

• Coaching & Counseling: He is fully certified as a professional coach, counselor, and master Enneagram teacher through multiple international institutes, and also holds PMP certification with HR and leadership specializations.

Daniel’s life work has been to bring cohesion, clarity, and courage to men and teams under pressure, whether in classrooms, boardrooms, or conflict zones. Now, through True Rock, he dedicates that calling to helping men live anchored in Christ, unmoved by the shifting tides of secular culture.
